[ or why i love taiwan]

I was asked to write a piece for a very cool project by 92Y called #wordswelivein. I went around Taiwan and took some pictures of words I saw and wrote a piece inspired by the words.

 

I decided to write a short lyrical piece, titled "In Praise of Brown" about why I love Taiwan. It's a lot about loving myself, loving who I am, loving Taiwan, and taking the time to listen and see.
