This is way belated, but I was traveling, which made all of this difficult.

Anyway, Fulbright's journal published a reflection I wrote about my time in Taiwan and my questions about my own identity. It's been an amazing, difficult, complicated, rewarding experience here in Taiwan. I've made amazing friends, seen amazing things, traveled to amazing places, eaten amazing foods. I've had to constantly re-evaluate what I was experiencing and thinking. I've got some great stories that have helped my research -- yes -- but more than that, I've been given a gift to learn more of who I am. Which is really what it's all about, isn't it?
